Angela is an experienced degree qualified Gold Coast Naturopath with over 15 years clinical experience in private practice and more than 20 years working within the health industry.
Her integrative approach combines the wisdom of traditional medicine philosophy with a modern and medically attuned foundation.
Angela originally trained in Positive Association Techinique (PAT) with our previous company Advanced Allergy Elimination (AAE) in the late 2000’s, and practiced in the Brisbane and New Farm locations for a number of years.
After a short break and moving her private clinic to the Gold Coast, we teamed up with Angela once again, and she started providing PAT to our Gold Coast clients in 2020.
Belinda Byrnes
Brisbane
Belinda has been working in private practice as a qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist since 2014 and in the health industry for almost 20 years. She opened her private clinic in 2020 after relocating from regional NSW, specialising in eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.
Having observed the impact allergies, sensitivities have on her sensitive clients, she jumped at the opportunity to join the Health & Wellness Australia team and began providing Positive Association Technique (PAT) from her Gaythorne, Brisbane clinic in early 2023.
She is passionate about empowering families to have more control over their own health journey and implementing positive changes in a balanced and manageable way.
Emily Chamberlain
Murwillumbah
Emily is a Naturopath and Clinical Herbalist located in the Northern Rivers of NSW. Emily has been practicing as a Naturopath since 2005 and has lectured in Naturopathy and BioScience subjects since 2010.
She has worked in a number of specialty clinics during her time as a Naturopath, including with our previous company Advanced Allergy Elimination (AAE) in the late 2000’s in Brisbane.
Once she built up her private practice in Murwillumbah, we teamed up with her one again to begin providing Positive Association Technique (PAT) to the Northern Rivers region from mid 2023.
Emily is passionate about helping clients achieve optimal health and well being and utilises a wholistic approach to address her clients individual needs.
Fiona Joiner
Canberra
Fiona completed her naturopathic studies in 2018 and works out of her private clinic space in Woden. She loves working with a vast range of different health issues but finds gut health and all aspects of women’s health particularly interesting.
Fiona has a passion for helping people change their lives in practical and sustainable ways. Small changes can sometimes be more achievable and more permanent, leading the way to bigger and better change in someone’s life further down the track.
Healing is not a quick fix, but a process or journey that should be honoured with space and time. Fiona also believes that the body has an amazing ability to heal itself, you just need to give it the right tools.
Fiona joined the Health & Wellness Australia team in Canberra in mid 2024, and enjoys providing symptom relief for a variety of clients with Positive Association Technique (PAT).
When she doesn’t have her head stuck in the latest herb book, you can find Fiona wandering around a National Park, cooking up something delicious in the kitchen or saving pottery ideas on Pinterest that she will probably never make.
Janet Haworth
Sunshine Coast
Janet journey as a Naturopath kicked off when as a single mum, 40-years old, working as a Clinical Nurse in a busy hospital, she suddenly found herself overwhelmed with weight gain, mood swings, anxiety, insomnia and allergies.
In 2016, she found her way out of this turmoil by leaving her nursing job and concentrating on building her Naturopathic clinic, with a focus on the women’s hormonal health from perimenopause and beyond.
Having personal experience with allergies, sensitivities and intolerances, she underwent further training in Positive Association Technique (PAT) in early 2023 to begin providing symptom relief for our Sunshine Coast clients from her home based clinic in Nambour.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Janet weightlifting at the gym or on a multi-day hike in the bush!
Jenny Bates
Auckland
Jenny (Adv Dip Naturopathy, Dip Nutrition) has been a Naturopath performing Positive Association Technique (PAT) since 2004, and was instrumental to the opening of our Auckland clinic back in 2007.
Over this time, she has worked with countless clients in both our Sydney and Auckland clinics. She is now also the author of many of our blog posts and podcast episodes and is a trainer and mentor for new PAT practitioners all over Australia and New Zealand.
With over 20 years of experience using this technique, Jenny enjoys working with clients of all ages, drawing on her wealth of knowledge to provide relief for a wide range of skin, respiratory, digestive and neurological symptoms.
When Jenny is not working with Health & Wellness Auckland, she has her own private clinic in Auckland where she practices Naturopathy, Nutrition and Massage Therapy.
Laura Hickey
Perth
Laura is a qualified Naturopath and Kinesiologist with extensive experience in natural therapies. She originally joined the team at Health & Wellness Australia in 2015 in Perth, then begun providing Positive Association Technique (PAT) from her private clinic in Fremantle from 2018.
Over this time she has gained extensive experience working with asthma, hayfever, skin conditions and digestive problems, as well as autoimmune conditions. To this day, she is still often amazed by the impact PAT is able to achieve by alleviating food and airborne reactions.
Laura enjoys working with chronic conditions, and as the mother of a child who has Down Syndrome, she knows all about taking her baby for regular blood tests, multiple appointments and never ending research and Facebook forums. So when working with babies and children, she knows where you’re at!
Leila DiQuinzio
Melbourne
Since completing her Naturopathy degree in 2011, Leila has worked with thousands of clients, both locally in private practice, and internationally at Kamalaya Koh Samui, one of the leading health retreats in the world.
Leila now runs her own multimodality clinic in Northcote, Melbourne named Aesara Health, where she focuses on digestive disorders and mental health, and enjoys utilising Positive Association Technique (PAT) to address allergies and intolerances to help her clients get relief from a wide variety of symptoms.
Leila has a warm and empathetic nature, and is passionate about guiding others to better understand themselves, and find their path to sustainable wellbeing.
Having previously worked as a Naturopath and PAT Practitioner at Health & Wellness Australia back in 2017, we teamed up with Leila once again in early 2021.
Natasha Egyud
Adelaide
Natasha is a mum of two young boys, was born and raised in Adelaide, SA and from an early age realised that her purpose in life was to help people.
Natasha began her journey in the field of Naturopathy in 1996, graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science in Naturopathy with Honours. Wanting to attain higher accreditation, she later completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy.
In her private practice, her goal and passion is to help each person strive to find and decipher all the missing pieces of their puzzle. Here, the process of repairing and rebuilding what is not only your body, but the many facets that make up your very essence can begin!
Over the years Natasha has observed the prevalence of allergies, sensitivities and intolerances with her clients, so underwent further training in Positive Association Technique (PAT) in mid 2024, to help our Adelaide clients from her clinic in Payneham.
Renee Simpson
Newcastle
Renee is a bachelor qualified Naturopath with over 8 years clinical experience. She loves working with her clients to help them achieve their optimal health potential and to live their best possible life!
Renee draws on her personal experience of the struggles food intolerances can cause, with her son experiencing issues from a young age.
Renee has been providing Positive Association Technique (PAT) from her clinic above the ‘Lighthouse Health Hub’ in Newcastle since early 2022.
Amy Huynh
Sydney
Amy is a qualified Naturopath and has been in the natural health industry since 2004. Her warm, compassionate and friendly nature make her clients feel comfortable to openly discuss their health concerns with her.
Amy joined the Health & Wellness Australia team in 2013 and has a strong interest in alleviating stress and improving digestive function. With Positive Association Technique (PAT) she supports many clients with conditions like hayfever, eczema, headaches and IBS.
Amy often noticed the connection between stress and her clients symptoms, so is now also a certified Emotion Release Technique (ERT) Practitioner. ERT is a tool to help identify and process underlying emotional drivers that affect our health and wellbeing by assessing the subconscious through muscle testing and processing through acupressure points.
